PURPOSE: An exhaust gas recirculation valve, a cam for the same, and a manufacturing method for the cap of the exhaust gas recirculation valve are provided to move a valve member up and down by minimizing a horizontal component and maximizing a vertical component of a force.;CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas recirculation valve(1) comprises a motor mounting unit(111), an exhaust gas passage(121), and a valve unit(200). The exhaust gas passage is adjacently formed to the motor mounting unit and formed in a housing(100). Exhaust gas discharged from an engine flows in the exhaust gas passage. The valve unit selectively opens and closes the exhaust gas passage by receiving a supply of power from a driving motor(3). The valve unit comprises an actuating cam(210) and a valve member(220). The actuating cap is supplied with power from the motor mounting unit and is rotationally installed in the housing. The valve member is connected to the actuating cam. The valve member vertically reciprocates and selectively intermits the exhaust gas passage.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
