A method for preparing the water to be used for manufacturing beverage or food by using deep seawater is provided to improve the taste and perfume of water when used in the manufacturing of beverage or food. A method for preparing the water to be used for manufacturing beverage or food by using deep seawater comprises the steps of heating the collected deep seawater at 20-30 deg.C; filtering it by sand filtration, microfiltration and/or ultrafiltration to produce the pretreated deep seawater; desalting it by nanofiltration and reverse osmosis filtration; adjusting the pH to be 9-11 by using NaOH, NaHCO3 or Na2CO3; removing salt and boron by second reverse osmosis filtration; adding a hardness control agent to it to control the hardness of water; magnetizing it; and treating it with the microclustered water of the half-width of 17O-NMR of 48-60 Hz.
