TIDE TESTING WATER TANK FOR A SEA HARBOR, CAPABLE OF SIMULATING A MARINE ENVIRONMENT ACCORDING TO A SEA LEVEL CHANGE SUCH AS A TIDE PHENOMENON

PURPOSE: A tide testing water tank for a sea harbor is provided to accurately measure a flow of sea water flowing in and out through a marine structure and to provide the basic information of design factors and the realizable possibility of a new regeneration energy generating device using the marine structure.;CONSTITUTION: A tide testing water tank(1) for a sea harbor comprises a water reservoir(10), a tide simulating water tank(20), a water supply pipe(30), a main pump(40), a level sensor(60), and a central control unit(70). One end of the water supply pipe is connected to the water reservoir and the other end of the water supply pipe is connected to the tide simulating water tank. The main pump supplies water from the water reservoir to the tide simulating water tank through the water supply pipe. The level sensor is mounted in the tide simulating water tank, thereby measuring a water level of the supplied water. The central control unit is electrically connected to the level sensor and main pump and controls the main pump in order to control a water supply according to the measured water level.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
