Apparatus and method for controlling route and resource in Packet-Optic convergence network

PURPOSE: A method for controlling resource and route in a packet-light merging network is provided to automatically control the resource and route of PTL according to monitoring result. CONSTITUTION: A path management system establishes an optical path and a PTL(Packet Transport Layer) route(S1). A resource approval and control system grasps the PTL route and the resources guaranteeing the transmission quality(S3,S4). The resource approval and control system performs the approval or rejection of the resource reservation about the corresponding service session(S5). The resource approval and control system requests path resource increase or decrease to the path management system(S7). The route management system performs the change of routes or resources(S8).
