PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing bio-oil based on catalyst pyrolysis using platinum/mesoporous MFI is provided to improve stability, caloric value, and the aromatic compounds of the bio-oil and to reduce oxygen components from the bio-oil. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing bio-oil includes the following: bio-mass is pyrolyzed to manufacture vapor-phased pyrolyzed product; the vapor-phased pyrolyzed product is in contact with microporus molecular catalysts of meso-porous frameworks containing platinum; and the vapor-phased pyrolyzed product is condensed to obtain liquid bio-oil. The platinum is contained in the catalysts based on a carrying technique or an ion-exchanging technique. The platinum is a platinum element or a platinum oxide.
