PURPOSE: A geological lunar surface development verification method is provided to verify evolution of a lunar surface by utilizing a GIS based geologic map. CONSTITUTION: A geologic map of a lunar surface is classified based on the late heavy bombardment as three geological periods such as before 3.9 Ga period, 3.9-3.7 Ga period and after 3.7 Ga(S100). In the geological map of the lunar surface, a specific area and area except for the specific area are selected(S200). Using Kakuya gamma ray data of the lunar surface, the distributions of K, O, Fe, Si and Ti are displayed in the geological map of the lunar surface(S300). In the specific area and the area except for the specific area, the variation of natural radioactive elements or the variation of main elements according to the geological time period are displayed(S400).
