摘要

PURPOSE: A system and method for monitoring a parking lot in real time are provided to check the parking lot by photographing a plurality of parking lots through one camera. CONSTITUTION: An omnidirectional camera(310) includes a fisheye lens and is installed in a ceiling of a parking lot. The omnidirectional camera photographs the lower side of the ceiling. A network video server(300) converts a circular optical image into circular image data and encodes image data to be received in a display device by resizing the stored image data. A parking lot monitoring server(200) stores basic data by extracting a histogram of a parking image and extracts histogram data of screen data compressed in the network video server. The parking lot monitoring sever determines a parking state by comparing the histogram data. A parking management server(100) senses a parking available space. A display panel(400-400N) displays a parking state according to each layer. A lamp unit(410-410N) displays the parking state at each parking section.
