CONSTRUCTING METHOD OF SPATIOTEMPORAL ONTOLOGY MODEL FOR A GEOLOGIC MAP

PURPOSE: A time space ontology model construction method for a geological map is provided to express a query based on a selective symbol and a knowledge level by conceptualizing geographical age units and symbol units. CONSTITUTION: A geological unit for a time space object is extracted from a time space domain of a geological map(S10). The time space domain normalizes geographical words, which express the time space object, based on Korean and English(S20). The geographical unit is conceptualized by hierarchically classifying the time space domain(S30). An ontology model for the geological unit is constructed(S40). The geographical unit is extracted by extracting a minimum rock unit and a minimum geological age unit from a space domain of the geographical map.
