SECURITY DOOR SYSTEM FOR PHYSICAL PROTECTION OF NUCLEAR PLANT FACILITIES

PURPOSE: A security door system for physically protecting nuclear facilities is provided to simultaneously provide preparation for terrorist attacks and management of emergency situations such as earthquakes, etc.. CONSTITUTION: A security door(10) is formed with two or more double-doors. The security door includes a locking means, a door(11), and an internal hinge(13). The locking means has automatic, manual, and emergency open/close functions. The door includes a handle connected to the locking means. A door frame(12) fastens the door. The internal hinge is installed at the inner side of the door frame to combine the door and the door frame.
