SLUDGE AND SCUM REMOVING SYSTEM, AND SCUM SKIMMER USED FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: A sludge and scum removing system, and a scum skimmer used in the same are provided to effectively remove scum from settling ponds with various shapes and structures, and to be able to apply the scum skimmer to the various types of settling ponds. CONSTITUTION: A sludge and scum removing system comprises a sludge collector(2) and a scum skimmer(3). The sludge collector has multiple scrapers transferring sludge in settling ponds to the sludge discharging position. The scum skimmer comprises a scum collection box(31) and a driving unit. The scum collection box has a first position where scum inflow is blocked, and a second position where one side is descended with a slope in order to allow the scum inflow. The driving unit drives the scum collection box to one position between the first and second positions. The scum collection box comprises an opening(312) formed on the upper part in order to flow in scum to the second position, and a scum outlet part(314). The scum collection box is descended with a slope so that the scum outlet part faces downward in the second position. A flexible pipe(315) is connected to the scum outlet part.
