PURPOSE: A method for providing parking space searching service using a smart device is provided to offer the parking lot information of circumferential areas for selecting a transportation unit before a smart device user arrives at a destination by transmitting real time parking information to the smart device.;CONSTITUTION: A service providing server receives destination information from a smart device(S200). The service providing server searches affiliated parking lot near the destination from the destination information(S300). The service providing server receives real time parking information including a possible parking number from the parking lot terminal of the affiliated parking lot(S400). The service providing server transmits real time parking information to the smart device(S500). The service providing server receives parking lot using information including estimated parking time from the smart device.
