CaLecRK1 gene from hot pepper concerned in defense response of plants and use thereof

PURPOSE: A composition containing Capsicum annuum-derived CalecRK1 gene for enhancing infection resistance of a plant is provided to reduce HR(hypersensitive resistance) and to produce transgenic plants. CONSTITUTION: A CaLecRK1 gene has a base sequence encoding amino acid of sequence number 2. The gene has a base sequence of sequence number 1. A CaLecRK1 protein has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 2. A composition for enhancing infection resistance of a plant contains an expression inhibitor of CaLecRK1 gene as an active ingredient. The expression inhibitor is a virus vector for VIGS in which CaLecRK1 gene. The virus vector is pTRV2::CaLecRK1. The plant infection is caused by PMMoV-P0. The composition is used for controlling plant infection resistance.
