PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing peptide fragments derived from CD47 is provided to prevent or treat inflammatory diseases and to suppress cancer cell proliferation and/or metastasis. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases contains peptides having amino acids of sequence numbers 1-3 as an active ingredient and pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. A pharmaceutical composition for suppressing cancer growth or metastasis contains the peptides as an active ingredient. The peptide has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 3.
