PURPOSE: A virtual memo system based on a position and a method thereof are provided to supply a virtual memo interface which stores and utilizes a memo related to a specific position of a user. CONSTITUTION: A virtual memo system comprises a mobile terminal(20) and a management server(10) which includes a web server(11), a position server(12), and a service server(13). An application executed in the mobile terminal requests position information of a user and virtual memo interface information to the management server. The position server registers the position information of the user. The service server generates a virtual memo interface and transmits the same to the mobile terminal. The user writes a memo by using the virtual memo interface. The memo is transmitted to the service server. A virtual memo, which stores the memo and the position information of the mobile terminal, is stored in the virtual memo system.
