The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for treating sewage/wastewater using biofilms and aerobic granular sludge, and more particularly, to an apparatus and method for treating sewage/wastewater using biofilms and aerobic granular sludge, in which the biofilms and aerobic granular sludge are sequentially fed into a single reactor and efficiency of removing organic matter, nitrogen, and phosphorus is remarkably improved by means of an inner circulation. The apparatus for treating sewage/wastewater using biofilms and aerobic granular sludge according to the present invention involves, as opposed to existing advanced wastewater treatment systems, feeding aerobic granular sludge into an upper portion of the reactor so as to enable the stable removal of organic matter even upon occurrence of instantaneous organic shock loading. In addition, nitrification and denitrification may be smoothly performed by sludge communities existing in layers in the aerobic granular sludge, and solid-liquid separation may be performed in a short amount of time due to the excellent precipitation performance of the granular sludge, thus enabling a smooth post-treatment process. Moreover, machinery and additional equipment for treatment may be significantly reduced in order to reduce installation and maintenance costs, and the efficiency of removing organic matter, phosphorus, and nitrogen is remarkably improved by means of the combination of the sludge and the biofilms in the lower portion of the reactor.
