PURPOSE: A polymerization reactor for manufacturing a high absorbent resin and a method for manufacturing the high absorbent resin using the same are provided to improve the efficiency of polymerization and to facilitate the maintenance of a reactor by varying the number, the shape, the size, or the material of impellers according to the region of the reactor. CONSTITUTION: A reacting part(10) is prepared. A monomer composition supplying part(16) is in connection with one terminal of the reacting part and supplies a monomer composition solution containing a monomer, a polymerization initiator, and a solvent. A stirring shaft(12) is connected from one terminal to another terminal of the reacting part. A plurality of impellers(14) is installed around the stirring shaft. A discharging part(18) is installed at another terminal of the reacting part and discharged the polymer.
