PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a multilayer carbon nanofiber is provided to ensure proper spinning property by blending and electrospinning a solution of acrylonitrile-containing copolymers with excellent affinity with polyacrylonitrile and high thermal stability, and to easily obtain the carbon nanofiber with multilayer cross section. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating a multilayer carbon nanofiber comprises: a step of preparing a first polymer solution which is prepared by dissolving polyacrylonitrile in a first solvent, a second polymer solution which is prepared by dissolving an acrylonitrile-containing copolymer in a second solvent, and a third polymer solution which is prepared by dissolving polyacrylonitrile in a third solvent; a step of supplying the first, second, and third polymer solutions to first, second, and third nozzles, respectively; a step of simultaneously electrospinning the solutions to obtain a conjugate fiber containing a core part-medium layer-shell layer; a step of performing thermal treatment of the conjugate fiber and stabilizing polyacrylonitrile of the conjugate fiber; and a step of carbonizing the stabilized polyacrylonitrile and plasticizing.
