Counter-flow Heat Exchanger with Improved Performance by Insulation of Heat Conduction

PURPOSE: A counter flow heat-exchanger is provided to improve the heat transfer efficiency by effectively secluding heat transfer generated in a downstream direction. CONSTITUTION: A counter flow heat-exchanger comprises an insulating member(50), crossed over a flow direction of fluids. The heat exchanger is a louvered fin heat exchanger(1). The insulating member is at right angle to the flow direction of the fluids. The insulating member is placed in a redirection unit part(10) of a lover fin. The insulating member is formed in a center of the redirection part.
