A simple reciprocating pivot-rotary type energy extraction device using vortex induced vibration according to the present invention is mounted in a sea or a river so as to carry out simple reciprocating pivot-rotation by the flow rate of water and includes: a vortex generation cylinder which carries out vortex induced vibration in the vertical direction by the vortex which is generated by the vortex shedding on a surface by the flow rate; a connection member of which one end is fixed to the vortex generation cylinder; a pivot shaft which is coupled to the other end of the connection member; a generator which is connected to the pivot shaft and to which the vertical motion of the vortex generation cylinder is transmitted via the pivot shaft such that the motion energy of the vortex induced vibration is converted to electric energy; and a support die which fixes and supports the generator.
