PURPOSE: A method for detecting Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. by LAMP(Loop Mediated Isothermal Amplification) is provided to quickly detect Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. at constant temperature. CONSTITUTION: A primer composition for LAMP to detect Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. contains a primer set of sequence numbers 1-4. A kit for detecting Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. contains the primer set and a reagent for amplification. A method for detecting Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. comprises: a step of isolating genome DNA from a plant sample; a step of performing LAMP using the primer set and the genome DNA as a template at 50-65 deg. C, and amplifying a target sequence of lytic murein transglycolase gene; and a step of detecting the amplified product.
