PURPOSE: A fuel cell stack is provided to absorb heat generated from a stack, and to transfers pressure to a main body by volume change material which expands the volume thereof, thereby coupling stacks without coupling rods. CONSTITUTION: A fuel cell stack (100) with a plurality of laminated unit cells comprises an end plate (113) for supporting both sides of the cells; and a volume change material (120) disposed on one side of the end plate. The volume change material is one or more selected from benzocyclobutene, brass, Douglas-fir, ethanol, gasoline, Kapton, stainless steel, water, and concrete.
