PURPOSE: An application management/control method, a device thereof for a mobile device using an adaptive environment policy management service and a recording medium including a program implementing the same reduce resource consumption and effectively support multiple use conditions by categorizing applications for a first mode and a second mode and selectively managing access to those applications.;CONSTITUTION: A policy processing unit (212) groups applications into a first mode applications and a second mode applications according to a preselected application management policy and draws out a list of operation system (OS) application execution records. A second mode execution management unit (213) backs up all the first mode applications and deletes them from the OS application execution list when the second mode has been selected, thereby managing the access and execution of the second mode applications. A first mode execution management unit (214) checks/restores the deleted first mode applications and adds them to the OS application execution list when the first mode has been selected, thereby managing the access and execution of the first mode applications.
