PURPOSE: A survey device, system, and method using an augmented reality-based portable survey terminal are provided to obtain image information and survey information of a subject from the images by using augmented reality and to immediately transmit the obtained survey information to a survey server. CONSTITUTION: An augmented reality-based portable survey terminal(10) comprises a measuring unit(11), a camera module(121), a posture sensor(122), a terrestrial magnetism sensor(123), a position measuring module(124), and an augmented reality generating unit(16). The survey unit generates coordinate values of an unknown point, which are calculated based on coordinate values of a basing point and a collimation angle of the unknown point, as survey information by using a measurement method determined according to a measurement mode. The camera module obtains reality images including the unknown point. The posture sensor provides a vertical or a horizontal angle of the portable survey terminal. The terrestrial magnetism sensor provides the azimuth of the portable survey terminal. The position measuring module provides a survey position coordinate value of the portable terminal. The augmented reality generating unit overlaps a virtual layer with the reality images, thereby generating augmented reality images.
