The present invention relates to an augmented reality-based survey system using a portable survey terminal, which: enables a user to quickly gather survey data without an error in, real, time using a portable terminal, and at the same time enables the user to check, transmit, share, examine, or manage the survey data on the screen of the portable terminal equipped with an augmented reality function; can provide additional information; and enables the user to utilize various types of data on a field. The augmented reality-based survey system comprises: a portable survey terminal, a survey server, and a web server which are linked together through communications network in order to provide augmented reality-based surveys. For the portable survey terminal, an application is installed and operated in a portable information processing terminal having the functionalities of GPS, posture measurement, direction measurement, camera, and communications such as a smartphone, a PDA, and the like. The survey server performs the following procedures: organizing and storing data transmitted by the portable survey terminal in a survey DB, wherein the data is made by adding a tag containing the coordinates of a survey location as well as the date and time of a survey to various kinds of survey data and additional data generated during the survey; and organizing and storing survey drawing data generated based on the obtained survey data in a survey drawing DB. The web server is linked with the databases of the survey server, and provides a web service through which a user can read various kinds of survey data, additional data, survey drawing data, and the like organized and stored in the databases of the survey server.
