PURPOSE: An insecticidal composition for preventing wood boring insects is provided to show eco-friendly and easy handling properties and an excellent insecticidal effect, thereby enhancing insecticidal efficiency for preventing wood boring insects. CONSTITUTION: An insecticidal composition for preventing wood boring insects contains 50-70 wt% of turpentine as an active ingredient and further contains beeswax or paraffin, gum rosin, and C1-C10 alcohols. The composition contains 50-70 wt% of turpentine as an active ingredient and further contains vegetable oil. The composition is used for preventing invasion of wood boring insects to wood.
