PURPOSE: A centralized electric vehicle charging system and an energy managing method thereof are provided to simultaneously charge a plurality of electric vehicles by using various charging algorithms. CONSTITUTION: Charging stations(131 to 13n) charge batteries of a plurality of electric vehicles(EV1 to EVn). A power system(105) supplies power to the charging stations. A controller(110) controls power supplied to the charging stations based on real-time allowable power information of the power system, charging state information of the battery, and charging request information of each electric vehicle.
