PURPOSE: A stress adaptation of an Oryza sativa plant by OsSIZ1 and OsSIZ2 expression is provided to express the proteins in the plant and to ensure stress tolerance. CONSTITUTION: An OsSIZ1 protein derived from an Oryza sativa plant contains an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1. The OsSIZ1 protein comprises: an SAP domain(12-45 amino acid residue) which is associated to DNA bond; a plant homeodomain-finger(PHD)(116-167th amino acid residue) existing in a plant Siz/PIAS protein; a PINIT domain(274-277th amino acid residue) which is essential for nucleus preservation; an SIZ/PIAS-RING (SP-RING) domain(360-412th amino acid residue) which is needed for SUMO E3-ligase activity; and a SX motif(606-608th amino acid residue) for enhancing SUMO binding.
