PURPOSE: A brake device for a tripper car is provided to prevent the slip of the tripper car by additionally restricting the movement of a driving wheel with an auxiliary brake part.;CONSTITUTION: A brake device for a tripper car comprises a main brake part (10), an auxiliary brake part (20), and a control part (30). The main brake part is mounted on a main body and controls the rotation of a driving wheel rotated along a rail. The auxiliary brake part is mounted on the main body and restricts the movement of the driving wheel. The control part controls the main brake part and the auxiliary brake part. The auxiliary brake part comprises a fixing part (21) and a driving part (22), a connection part (23), and a support part (24). The fixing part is coupled to the main body. The driving part is installed in the fixing part and varies the length. The connection part is connected to the driving part and is rotationally coupled to the fixing part.
