SPINDLE UNIT FOR CNC LATHES, CAPABLE OF CONSECUTIVELY PROCESSING A METAL PACKING ON THE CNC LATHE AND A METHOD TO PROCESS A METAL PACKING FOR VALVES USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A spindle unit for CNC lathes and a method to process a metal packing for valves using the same are provided to improve the productivity as the integral processing is performed on the CNC lathe and to efficiently use a work space because a separate marking device or a rear surface processor is not required.;CONSTITUTION: A spindle unit (1) for CNC lathes comprises a cap nut (3) and a collet (4). A claw (5) divided by a cutting groove (5a) is formed in the front end of the collet. A taper operating hole connected to an operational pin inserting hole is penetrated inside the claw. An operational pin where a taper operating unit is inserted into the taper operating hole is formed is inserted into the front end of the operational pin inserting hole. A compressed spring (11) is interposed between a sleeve (9) and a collar assembled in the cap nut.
