Locus conferring adult-plant resistance to downy mildew in Chinese cabbage, and molecular markers linked thereto

PURPOSE: A locus BrRHP1 of downy mildew resistance and a molecular marker are provided to develop the species of Chinese cabbage. CONSTITUTION: A RAPD(randomly amplified polymorphic DNA) molecular marker for selecting downy mildew resistant gene has a base of sequence number 1. A SCAR(sequence characterized amplified region) molecular marker for determining downy mildew resistance is selected from the group consisting of BrPERK15A of sequence number 2 and BrPERK15B of sequence number 3 or 4. A molecular marker for determining downy mildew resistance, which is derived from BAC(bacterial artificial chromosome) clone is: N18 of sequence number 5 or 6; M05 of sequence number 9 or 10; G17 of sequence number 11; J11 of sequence number 12 or 13; or A03 of sequence number 14 or 15.
