CENTERING DEVICE FOR MEASURING THE STATIC-BALANCE OF A GREEN TIRE, CAPABLE OF IMPROVING THE RELIABILITY OF MEASUREMENT

PURPOSE: A centering device for measuring the static-balance of a green tire is provided to solve a problem in which diameters of beads of an identical size are different in the measurement of static-balance of the green tire, thereby obtaining measurement data with reliability by accurately centering the green tire.;CONSTITUTION: A centering device for measuring the static-balance of a green tire includes a lower plate (1), a ball screw (3), links (6), and four arms (7). The lower plate supports the entire device. The ball screw is arranged upwardly from the center of the lower plate and installed by a medium of a bearing (2) to be freely rotated. The front end portions of the links are connected to the four arms respectively on the upper side of the ball screw by a medium of ball screw nuts and hubs. The four arms center bead units of the green tire which becomes expanded or contracted in all directions on the other end portions of the links.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
