FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to vascular surgery. Carotid endarterectomy is performed. A hole with diameter which is 2 mm larger that diameter of external carotid artery is cut in the middle of polypropylene mesh. After that, the hole is connected with mesh edge by cut. Obtained plate is wrapped around bifurcation of carotid arteries.;EFFECT: method makes it possible to carry out prophylaxis of venous aneurisma on the place of plasty of carotid artery defect in post-operative period after carotid endarterectomy operation, reduce risk of formation of true and false aneurisma of carotid arteries in post-operative period after carotid endarterectomy operation.;1 ex, 3 dwg
