The coated particles contain aggregate particles and an oil-permeable and water-impermeable film which coats the aggregate particles; the film is formed by at least two oleophilic and hydrophobic resins, an oil-permeable and water-impermeable epoxy resin, an oleophilic and hydrophobic phenol-aldehyde polymer, an oleophilic and hydrophobic polyurethane, with the weight ratio of the two types of oleophilic and hydrophobic resins of 1:0.1-10. The method for oil field development employs said particles.
