FIELD: physics.;SUBSTANCE: converter has an acoustic line in form of a cylinder, on one end of which there is a magnetostrictive element in form of a uniform monocrystalline film, the thickness of which is a multiple of the wavelength of ultrasonic vibrations of the acoustic line. The converter has a means of generating a variable component and a constant component of magnetic field, directed along the axis of the acoustic line. On both sides of the magnetostrictive element there are magnets with constant magnetic field strength not greater than the saturation field of material of the analysed uniform monocrystalline film.;EFFECT: high coefficient of conversion of high-frequency ultrasonic vibrations.;2 cl, 2 dwg
