1. A solid composition for reducing the content of heavy metals in the exhaust gas, containing a mineral substance, preferably unfunctionalized, doped with a halogen salt, that is, in which the surface accessible to the exhaust gases is partially or completely coated with a halogen salt, which is selected from the group consisting of halloysite, carbonates or calcium or magnesium hydroxides and sodium carbonates, as well as mixtures thereof. 2. The composition of claim 1, wherein said halogen salt is an inorganic halogen salt. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said mineral substance is preferably selected from the group consisting of halloysite, slaked lime, dolomite and limestone, as well as mixtures thereof. The composition according to claim 1, in which the specified salt of the halogen in terms of dry matter is present in an amount of 0.5-20 wt.%, Preferably 1-15 wt.% And, in particular, 1.5-10 wt.% Salt relative to the weight of the composition. 5. The composition of claim 1, wherein said halogen salt is an alkali metal halide, alkaline earth metal halide or the like, preferably selected from the group consisting of NaCl, NaBr, NaI, KCl, KBr, KI, CaCl, CaBr, CaI, MgCl, MgBr, MgI, NHCl, NHBr or NHI or mixtures thereof. 6.
