METHOD FOR SURGICAL MANAGEMENT OF PATIENTS WITH OROANTRAL FISTULA

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely surgical dentistry, maxillofacial surgery, otorhinolaryngology, and aims at treatment and rehabilitation of the patients with oroantral fistula. A mucous membrane surrounding oroantral fistula is incised at 2.5-3.5 mm from its border. The mucous membrane of oroantral fistula walls are de-epithelised. After closure of the mucosal edges of oroantral fistula, a full-thickness hard palate mucosa autograft is cut in size of the formed wound surface. The autograft is laid on the defect. The edges of the autograft and the mucous membrane surrounding oroantral fistula are sutured.;EFFECT: method enables preserving anatomical structure of the mucous membrane of transitory fold within oroantral fistula, simultaneously removing oroantral fistula and creating a required volume of attached gum due to mucous membrane repair within fistula by a solid connective-tissue hard palate autograft.;6 dwg, 2 ex
