FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to radiotherapy in ophthalmology. Model of human orbit at scale 1:1, which contains radiopaque models of orbit structures, is made and filled with tissue-equivalent material; computed tomography (CT) of orbit model is performed, series of scans in frontal and sagittal planes are obtained. Quadrant of localisation of model of ablated tumour bed (ATB) is created; models of radioactive sources (MRS) iodine-125 are created at scale 1:1 and placed in chain-like manner tightly one after another, or at the distance up to 7 mm from each other grouped 1-5 MRS in a carrier, carriers with MRS are evenly placed in ATB parallel to each other at the distance 3-10 mm; control CT of orbit model is carried out and series of scans in frontal and sagittal planes with images of orbit structures and MRS are obtained; by means of brachytherapy-planning programme Permanent Seed graphicdesignation of contours of orbit structures and irradiated volume of orbit tissues, including ATB and 3 mm of surrounding tissues of orbit, is performed, and calculation of doses of ionising irradiation is carried out.;EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce dose load on healthy tissues of orbit and reduce risk of radiation complications.;3 dwg, 1 ex
