FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to treatment of underground water from gases dissolved therein and can be used in water treatment. Source water containing hydrogen sulphide and impurities is fed through a pipe 1. The water is then fed into a floatation plant 3, having at least two chambers. At the first floatation step, a hydrogen sulphide neutraliser is fed through a nozzle 2 and at the second step, a chemical which facilitates precipitation of sulphates and sulphides is added. The treated water enters a settling tank 4, from where it is fed into a contact flocculator 6, having a gravel filling.
