FIELD: biotechnologies.;SUBSTANCE: method is disclosed for production of a wild type of an attenuated or recombinant pox virus, without detected infectitious specificity. The method provides for preparation of a culture of packing cells, contamination with pox virus and cultivation of infected cells.
