METHOD OF SURGICAL TREATMENT OF COMBINED OLD INJURIES OF PELVIC RING AND LOWER URINARY TRACT IN MEN

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to traumatology, injury of pelvis bones and urethra. Complex traumatologic and urologic examination is carried out. Determined are: degree of injury of pelvis bones, urethra, defect length, as well as connection of urethra with bone fragments and/or with displaced pelvis bones. Determined are: presence of stricture formation and/or urethra obliteration, presence and character of infravesical obstruction, urine bladder diverticulosis, vesicoureteral reflux and ascending pyelonephritis. After that, tactics of one-stage or two-stage surgery with reconstruction, resection of bone fragments, and in case of necessity fixation of pelvis bones and urethra plasty, is determined by the results of examination. Metal plates, apparatuses of external fixation are used for fixation. Urethra plasty depends on defect size and its localisation.
