The system has circular air distributer rings including exhaust openings in a region of cooling air channels of transformer windings. The distributer rings are provided below the windings. Cooling air gaps are distributed over a winding cross-section. Each cooling air channel is supplied with a defined cooling air quantity by the rings around a leg of a transformer. The rings are connected with each other. The exhaust openings possess different cross-sections. The rings are made of glass fiber reinforced plastic.
