The present invention relates to a heart-nanoparticle shell comprising at least one heart consists of at least a first metallic material based on at least one metal having a plasmon resonance in the domain selected from the ultraviolet range, the area of visible and near infrared range, and a silica shell, said silica comprising functional groups. According to the invention, the silica comprises at its surface, covalently bonded, stabilizing agents of said nanoparticle. The present invention also relates to a heart-shell nanoparticle comprising a heart comprising at least said first material and a metal shell made of a second material based on at least one metal having a plasmon resonance in the area selected from the area of the ultraviolet, the visible and near infrared range, said second material different from the first material, the metal shell being stabilized by a surfactant without halide. The present invention also relates to an immunochromatographic test device for detecting at least one analyte comprising the specific binding agents of the analyte, said binding agents are labeled with nanoparticles, wherein the nanoparticles comprise at least one heart composed of at least said first material and a silica shell, said silica comprising functional groups.
