The method involves performing static balance of a mobile (1) to bring center of gravity of the mobile on an axis (D), and determining target value of resultant unbalance moment of the mobile about the axis. Rotation speed of the mobile is fixed at maximum angular speed calculated for a mobile assembly (40) during pivoting/oscillation with a return and/or electrostatic repulsion unit. The mobile is rotated at a preset speed around the axis to measure the moment relative to the axis. The value of unbalance moment is adjusted in determined tolerance relative to the target value. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a mobile assembly for a scientific instrument or chronometer (2) a mobile assembly.
