A method for producing powder-coated conductive wood-based panels, wherein a preform having a major portion of lignocellulosic fibers, shavings and strands is hot-pressed to the wood-based panel by an adhesive which aids in increasing the conductivity of the wood-based panel and is subsequently powder-coated thereby in that the adhesive used is an adhesive consisting of a phenol-formaldehyde adhesive component and a low-molecular-weight protein-containing component in order to increase the conductivity of the wood-based panel.
