The auxiliary assembly device (1) has a receiving unit (7) for a rear spoiler module (4), where the receiving unit is back or forth movably held in the longitudinal direction of a motor vehicle (3) over a length adjusting unit. The receiving unit is held over a height adjusting unit in an upwardly and downwardly movable manner. The receiving unit is held over a pivoting unit in a deviating manner. An independent claim is included for a method for the pre-assembly of a rear spoiler module and for the assembly of the rear spoiler module in a rear of a motor vehicle.
