The device (1) has an outer part (16') axially movable to an inner part (16) and supported via a bearing (9) e.g. ball bearing, with respect to a gripper element (13). The gripper element co-acts with a plate spring (12) of a separation clutch (2) via a contact surface (11) to open the separation clutch for transmission of tensile and compressive forces to the plate spring. The gripper element is rotatably coupled by the plate spring in an operating mode. The gripper element is provided with an outward open annular groove. An independent claim is also included for a hybrid power train.
