The grinding treatment method involves projecting platform surface (7) from a gravure base (8) in radial manner and twisting a gravure roller around its rotational axis. The platform surface of a gravure is subjected to a grinding process by a grinding tool. The grinding tool is guided along a lateral surface of the gravure roller, where the lateral surface of the gravure roller is formed by envelope of platform surface.
