The head (100) has outer and central shower head elements (20, 30) inserted in a supporting frame (10) of a base housing. The head elements are designed as hollow bodies and provided with respective nozzles (21) and micro aerators (31) at a bottom. The outer shower head element includes a lateral inlet opening (22) at an outer periphery. A distributor element (40) includes a rotatably or pivotably mounted distributor finger, which is alternately or simultaneously brought into connection with the inlet opening. The distributor element is inserted as a separate module in the supporting frame. An independent claim is also included for a modular hand shower.
