The shower fitting has a distribution unit. This is supplied with warmed water, which is fed to various horizontal massage nozzles (22,24) and/or shower heads (26,28), when a changer device (30) is operated. The distributor is directly connected to a shower hose connection. This is supplied with heated water via a connection hose or an already available shower hose, and a concealed mounted mixer valve. The connection hose may have a flow profile of pref. double size, and of short length. Elastic foil parts may be used for selective closing of some horizontal jet nozzles, causing increased pressure an the remaining nozzles.
