The method involves analyzing module arrangement based on installation environment including assembly parameters such as assembly location, size, geometry, self-structure, topography and orientation. The points over temperature trends at reliable statement in presence of critical state are selected. The points close to photovoltaic modules (12-1) are provided with temperature sensor (28). The signals are evaluated based on evaluation pattern delivered by temperature sensors at specific time. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a monitoring device; and (2) a function module.
